Piuma Coat

Black and ivory mix coat with notched rounded collar in embroidered wool and cotton blend with an abstract pattern. Button closure at front. Patch pockets at front, interior buttoned slip pocket. Button waist tab and vent at back. Fully lined in grey fabric.

"Piuma" faithfully reproduces the world of the original painting in a woven pattern. This textile is completed with minimal expression such as brushstrokes and shading of brush strokes. As with "Glass Flower", two colors of cotton thread are used for the warp and six colors of wool thread for the weft, but by changing the weaving data, a completely different woven pattern is created. Although the number of visible colors is small, many colored threads are used, giving the fabric a sense of depth.
This coat is packed with technology and has a plain feel, but the woven fabric has a strong presence. It is made to be oversized, giving it a generous silhouette.
