Salt Bath Single

Hiba Wood Bath Salt is a mixture of Aomori Hiba Wood Oil and salt. It is made by pumping and distilling the mineral rich sea water, from the Tsugaru Strait.

The Aomori Hiba is famous for it's use as a building material. It was historically used to build Japanese shrines, Buddhist temples, castles, etc. This is because the wood is corrosion-inhibiting, industrial-strength, antibacterial and insect repelling. ( also relaxing) The natural hiba oil is extracted from the wood waste of over 250 year-old Aomori Hiba wood through water vapor distillation.
